 ecember 2\, 2026\nThis beautiful tradition marks the beginning of our Adve
 nt journey as we prepare our hearts and our church for the celebration of 
 Christ’s birth.\nTogether\, we’ll transform our worship space with the
  beautiful symbols of Christmas while taking time to remember the hope\, p
 eace\, joy\, and love that Christ brings.\nWhat to Expect\nThis is a speci
 al celebration for the whole church family\, and we would love for you to 
 be part of it!\nDecorating the Sanctuary\nHelp us hang the greenery\, wrea
 ths\, poinsettias\, and other beautiful decorations that make our worship 
 space feel ready for Christmas.\nScripture &amp\; the Story of Advent\nAs 
 we decorate\, we’ll reflect on Scripture and the meaning behind the symb
 ols of the season.\nChristmas Carols &amp\; Worship\nWe’ll sing familiar
  Christmas songs and lift our voices together as we begin our Advent celeb
 ration.\nFellowship &amp\; Family\nCome be part of this meaningful traditi
 on as we gather together as the WCMC family and prepare our hearts for Chr
 istmas.\nA Season of Preparation\nThe Hanging of the Green is more than de
 corating for Christmas. It is an invitation to pause\, prepare\, and remem
 ber what—and Who—we are celebrating.\nAs the sanctuary changes around 
 us\, may our hearts also be prepared for the coming of Christ.\nCome help 
 us hang the green\, sing the songs\, tell the story\, and begin the Advent
  season together!\nEveryone is invited!\n
